Prince Charles White Wine Aston
PRINCE Charles is helping to save the planet – by running his famous Aston Martin on white wine.
The classic gas-guzzler, a DB6 Volante given to the Prince by the Queen to mark his 21st birthday in 1970, has been overhauled to make it more environmentally-friendly.
It now runs on bioethanol extracted from local vineyards’ surplus plonk – at a cost of £1.10 per litre.
And, with the eco-friendly fuel burning at nearly 10 per cent more efficiently than petrol, the 150mph motor even goes FASTER at 165mph.
Good on him! Although seems a shame to waste wine...

PM wants us all to drive Electric Motors
EVERYONE in Britain will one day drive electric cars, Gordon Brown pledged last night. Petrol vehicles will be driven off the road in a bid to save the planet.
All new motors sold in the UK will have to be battery-powered or hybrids by 2020, the PM declared.
Firms were last night put on notice to design a range of electric cars, from family saloons to sports models.
This can only be a positive thing, but when will the government start really pushing industry to clean up it's act?

Hydrogen refuel station unveiled
A hydrogen refuelling station which could be installed in the home as an alternative to visiting a petrol station has been unveiled.
Users will need a hydrogen-powered car to go with it although the system can also be used for heating and cooking.
Hydrogen has long been touted as an alternative energy source to carbon-hungry fossil fuels.
One of the biggest obstacles to wider adoption of fuel-cell vehicles is the lack of hydrogen fuelling stations.
To be used as a fuel, hydrogen must first be produced using another energy source.
