How can double glazing help me save money and improve my energy efficiency?

Double glazing windows are made up of 2 panes of glass sealed together, instead of a single pane of glass. The gap between the 2 panes is filled either with air or argon gas to work as an excellent insulator, keeping out the cold.

Draughts in the home are often caused by glass windows and an excellent way of warming up a cold house is to fit double glazing. Fitting double glazing can help you save money on your heating bills and can help dramatically reduce the impact that you and your home have on the environment.

They are also considered to be an excellent way of helping to sell your home, as double glazing is a standard feature on most new home builds.
