What happens in a gas combi or condensing boiler service and inspection?

So when you get a boiler serviced and inspected, what do they actually do??? It's not a great mystery, our brief guide explains the basic procedure for a boiler service.

• Boiler flue output is analysed to check the gases are at an acceptable level.
• All the pipework is checked for corrosion and to ensure joins are good, and ventilation around the pipes is checked.
• All the boiler features should be checked to make sure everything works fine. The internal components should also be checked.
• Some of the boiler parts will require regular cleaning each year, and any faulty or tired parts should be replaced.
