They have a well established and trusted network of fully-certified boiler engineers, and excellent customer service.
Homeserve provide emergency call out and insured repair solutions for some of the UK's biggest companies and now they provide those same boiler and plumbing insurance services direct to customers too.
Last year alone Homeserve completed over 1.1 million repairs over their whole range of trades. They aim to put their customers first and be the best provider in the home repairs market, acting with passion, integrity and determination which results in delighted customers and a strong market position for the business.

- Warranty provision on household goods (boilers, white goods, electrical equipment) and home infrastructure (plumbing, water supply pipes and wiring)
- A comprehensive service covering the end to end process, from marketing their insurance policies, customer administration, claims handling and the deployment of employed and fully qualified subcontracted repairers.

Only de-merged from South Staffordshire Water in 2004, Homeserve Group plc is the parent group for all of their businesses. Since being floated on the London Stock exchange, Homeserve have added a number of businesses to the Homeserve family, choosing complimentary companies that strengthen their service.
Homeserve's history, before boiler insurance
- 1853 The South Staffordshire Waterworks Company was set up to provide pure water to the inhabitants of the towns of the Black Country.
- 1991 The South Staffordshire Waterworks Company became a public company and was listed on the London Stock Exchange as South Staffordshire Water.
- 1992 A new holding company was set up and listed on the London Stock Exchange - South Staffordshire Water Holdings Plc.
- 1993 South Staffordshire Water set up a joint venture with Richard Harpin - Fastfix.
- 1994 The first plumbing and drainage policies were sold under the name of ‘Home Service Scheme'.
- 1996 The first mailing business was bought and later renamed Mail Solutions.
- 1997 We bought Insight Surveys and renamed the company OnSite 1999 The company changed its name to South Staffordshire Group Plc to reflect the growth of the non water businesses.
- 2000 Homeserve Claim Management began life as Home Hotline.
- 2001 Company reclassified to the FTSE Support Services sector We launched Domeo, a joint venture in France.
- 2002 We acquired Regency, Highway and Middleton Maintenance 2003 Home Service USA is launched, taking the Homeserve vision of insurance warranty and repair networks to the world.
- 2003 They acquired Servowarm.
- 2004 The water supply business was demerged and the company changed its name to Homeserve plc We sold Mail Solutions and acquired Sergon BRM (now called Homeserve Property Repairs).
- 2005 All the UK businesses were re-branded as Homeserve and adopted the new red logo. They also sold OnSite and Middleton Maintenance and acquired Chem-Dry, the UK's leading disaster restoration, recovery and cleaning service to the domestic and commercial premises. They also acquired Improveline this year.
- 2006 Homeserve acquired Pilkington Glazing and launched their new consumer facing Emergency Repairs service.
- 2007 Homeserve announces the Acquisition of Multimaster in the warranties division. Homeserve also announces the acquisition of Anglia NW Ltd within the property repairs division.
